Nagasari/Kue Pisang


250 gr Tepung Beras

2 packs KARA santan cair Murni
mix with 200 ml of water

100 gr Sugar

1 pc of Pandan leaves (Optional, can be substitute with vanilla essence, about 1 tsp)

1 teaspoon of salt

3 banana/plaintains (sliced into 0.5x1.5x1.5 inches)

Banana leaves for wrapping


Pour half of the coconut milk into rice flour and mix well.

Cook the rest of the coconut milk, sugar, pandan leaves, and salt. Be careful not to overcook.

Let it cool down a little bit then pour in the mixture of rice flour and mix them well.

Clean the banana leaves and wipe dry. Cut into rectangle about 6x7 in.

Place about 1 tablespoon of rice flour in the middle of the banana leave.

Put a slice of banana and cover it with a little bit of rice flour again on top of the banana.

Wraps the mixture by pulling both ends into the center of the leaves to cover the rice flour, and repeat with the left and right side.

Place on the steamer with the fold on the bottom.

Wrap all the rice flour until finish and steam for about 25 minutes.

Enjoy with a cup of warm tea or coffee.
