Mie Goreng (Fried Noodle)

Ingredients

pack Mie Telor Asli Cap Atoom Bulan, Egg Noodle

4 ounces chicken breast tenders, sliced

3 tbsp cooking oil

3 Kemiri, Naga Candle Nuts - ground

3 cloves chopped garlic

3 chopped shallots

1 green onion, thinly sliced

cup shredded cabbage

3 tbs kecap manis tukang sate Kecap Manis Cap Orang Jual Sate, Sweet Soy Sauce

1/3 cup hot water

salt and pepper to taste

1 egg to make sunny side up

1 tbs cooking oil

Directions

In medium pot, cook egg noddle about 2 minutes in a hot boiling water. Drain and set aside. The noodles should still about half done since it will be cooked again when it is stir-fried.

Heat oil over high hear in a frying pan or wok and stir fry the chicken meat until lightly golden, about 2 3 minutes. Add the shallots, candle nuts and stir fry until shallots has soften. Add garlic and stir fry again for about 1 minute. Add cabbage and stir fry about 1 minute. Add hot water, kecap manis, salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the egg noddle and green onion, tossing and mixing thoroughly until very hot and all water is absorbed. Remove from heat.

To make sunny side up, heat up 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan or wok with a medium heat. Crack the egg and fry it for about 1 minute. Sprinkle egg with salt and pepper lighly. Cover and let it cook for another 2 minutes.

Place the stir-fried noodle in a plate sprinkled with fried onions and topped with sunny side up egg. Serve with krupuk udang and pickles (cucumbers).
