200 gr all purpose flour

115 gr sugar

1 pack of KARA santan cair Murni

1 egg yolk

3 eggs

1 tsp active yeast

4 tbs of warm water

Cooking oil


In a small bowl sprinkle the yeast in a warm water and let it dissolved.

In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until thick and light for about 10 minutes. Whisk in flour and continue to mix in with low speed.

Then add the yeast liquid and the coconut milk. With a rubber spatula, mix in all the ingredients in the batter until evenly mix.

Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and let it rise for 4-5 hours or double in size.

Heat the pukis griddle. Check if the griddle is hot enough by placing a few drops of water. The griddle is ready if the water dances across the surface.

Gently brush the griddle with oil. Ladle the batter onto the griddle. Sprinkle with chocolate, cheese, or bananas if desired.

Covered and let it cook for about 5 minutes.

Gently lift the pukis out from the griddle and serve.
